Before contacting support, there are a few things you should know

As part of our never-ending mission to provide you with the best services available, we have partnered with gnsPLANET, LLC to provide a new line of enhanced servers for our customers. Moving your domain to a new server will require your IP to be changed to a new IP. If you connect to your web site using SSH, FTP or HTTP using your IP, you will need to make the necessary changes required by the change to your IP. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes you.

New Name Servers: NS3.WEBDOMAINS4U.COM, NS4.WEBDOMAINS4U.COM

All of your web pages, databases, email accounts and scripts have already been copied to the new server for you. Our technicians have made every effort to insure your site is working properly. Your web site statistics program has changed but the old site data and programs have also been copied to the new server for you.

Dedicated IP's are no longer assigned to every account. New regulations restrict assigning an IP without a valid reason for the assignment. Some valid reasons are SSL Certificate, Nameservers, Development, etc. All IP's must be accounted for in order for us to receive new IP's and renew our IP pool. For any questions on IP changes or to request a dedicated IP, please email support@webdomains4u.com and we will set it up for you.

IMPORTANT: Your website has only been copied to the new server. The domain name itself is still pointed to the old server. You will need to update your Nameservers (DNS) to point to the new server. Updating your DNS is done at your Registrar (usually, where you registered the domain name). If you registered your domain at WebDomains4U, the domain manager login is located at https://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/shopper_lookup.asp?prog_id=wd4u. Updating your DNS is a very simple process and is only controlled by the domain owner. If you have any questions on how to update your DNS, please contact support.

Email settings for an Email Client (Outlook, Eudora, MAC mail etc.):

Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail server does require authentication.

Incoming mail port: 110 for POP3, 143 for IMAP
Outgoing mail port: 25 (If 25 does not work, try 26, as some ISPs block port 25)

Username is the same one as you use for webmail (the full email address).
(If entering "username@yourdomainname" does not work, try "username+yourdomainname")

** No SSL boxes should be checked **
